1st September
 Floral Fireworks.
Celebrating the start of Spring.


2nd September
 One large step........
One of two 150-metre (492 foot) long gantry cranes at work on
the four-kilometre (2.5 mile) 'Skytrain' rail bridge that will form
 part of the Sydney Metro Northwest rail line. The two gantries
were imported from Dubai - in 3800 pieces each,
within about 130 shipping containers.



3rd September

  Australian Magpie...Terror of The Skies.

 Saturday night in the garden.

 My eldest and youngest sons with their dogs,
Charlie & Rocket (bottom right) on our Father's Day outing.

 What you get when you cross Skippy with Rin Tin Tin.


8th September
 When we read by the light of a kerosene lamp.  
Going through things left by her mother, my wife came across
 theses books from the late 1800's.
 The titles were
 'The Tower of London'......'Strange Tales of Peril and Adventure'......
'Wings and Stings'......'Common Accidents and How to Treat Them'
.......
'Outcast Robin'.'......'The Doctor at Home and Nurse's Guide Book.


9th September

  Construction equipment at Wentworth Park, next to the Parramatta River.


10th September
 Introducing, Miss Poly Anthus.


11th September
 The carpark was full.  
Westfield, Parramatta.


12th September
 Spring sunset after a perfect spring day.
At the moment the sun sets out of sight to the right of the photo,
in summer it will set between the neighbours palms and our trees on the left.


13th September
 Spanish Bluebell.
  Just spent the whole weekend getting the garden ready for the
 local garden competition judges visit tomorrow morning.
The above won't count as I have entered in the 'native garden' section.


14th September
 A mother and her 2 little princesses.
  Cumberland Hospital. The dark objects hanging in the
background below the arch are flying foxes.


15th September
 Metallic Carpenter Bee.
   Carpenter Bee on native pea flower, Dural NSW. This bee is 2cm (nearly 1 inch) long.


16th September
 Tower of Ajuga.


17th September
 Just hanging around.
 Boots on electricity wires.  Handy if you are 40 feet tall.


18th September
 Red Bull Ant.


19th September
 Meet my friend...Mr Mouse.


20th September
 I've been staring at this thing all day (it has been raining, sometimes)


21st September
 Just fed this mob at Mudgee.


22nd September
 Just a shell of its former self.

 St Mary's church, Mudgee.

 History partly destroyed.
  Some of the headstones removed from three Mudgee cemeteries
which were converted into ‘Rest Parks’


25th September

 An Eastern Spinebill in '7th Heaven'.
   Flower is Epacris longiflora (Native fuchsia) at Mount Tomah Botanic Gardens.


28th September
 Spent the day in the garden. (selfie in garden mirror)


29th September
       'Memory'.
    One of the outdoor sculptural exhibits at the
 'Hidden- A Rookwood Sculpture Walk'at Rookwood Cemetery.


30th September
 Selfie by a third.
 My wife noticed that these two ladies were having trouble in getting
a 'selfie' of themselves and the tulips, so she offered to take it for them.

2015 Photography Project365 Group.....JULY

1st July
 Banksias and Terracotta Pipe.
Trying something different...... staged photos in a 'studio' situation.
These will be my 'Studio Series'.


2nd July
 Stone walls do not a prison make, Nor iron bars a cage.
Part of the remaining wall of the Female Factory Parramatta,
which was closed in 1849.


3rd July
 The Doors Were Locked at Number.......904.


4th July
 There's Always New Life.
In the grounds of Australia's oldest church (1809) at Ebenezer. 
(Starting to get around again, as I'm now able to drive, after a 5 week break
)

 A Dash Through The Splash.
Armory Wharf on the Parramatta River NSW.

 What Time Is It Now.

 Teddy Goes To The Art Gallery.

 The Old and The New.
  Old brick carrying barge at Homebush and new developments
at Rhodes, on the Parramatta River.


10th July
 Sydney Town.
  The sun shines through the clouds on Sydney while the
northern suburb of Clifton Gardens still shivers in the shade.


11th July
 The Caretaker.
  The Old Anglican Rest House (also known as The Elephant House)
 in Rookwood Cemetery, was built in 1873.


12th July
 The TI Dancers.
Two ladies from the Torres Strait Islands perform at the Burramatta
NAIDOC (National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee)
celebration at Parramatta.


13th July
 What's For Dinner.
#3 in my 'Studio Series'. (no animals were eaten in this process)


14th July
 Grevillea 'Honey Gem'.  Growing at home.


15th July
 We Should All Do More Of This.
   Seen on footpath/sidewalk while walking around the block this morning.


16th July
 Where The Stars Get In Your Eyes.
  Tebbutt Observatory, Windsor, was built in 1879.


17th July
   Doesn't Happen Often.
  We don't get to see this often only 70 minutes drive from home.
 St George's Church, Mount Wilson, was built in 1915.


18th July
 Look Who Came To Dinner.
 One of a few King Parrots we feed at home.


 19th July
 Slipping Away.
   Remains of an old slipway that was part of the Bantry Bay
Explosives Magazine complex near Seaforth Oval NSW.


20th July
 Now I know where baby carrots come from.
 Two entwined carrots pulled from the garden this morning.


21st July
 I was going to call this 'Mother-in-Law', but I had second thoughts.
Not sure what this plant is growing in our garden.


22nd July
 In the wake of Captain James Cook.
  A container ship entering Botany Bay.


23rd July

 No body wanted Angie.

 Oh, I'm a lumberjack, and I'm okay.
   Cutting down some local landmarks. If you have trouble
 breathing tomorrow it's because now there is less oxygen.
